A Godly perspective on the City of Benoni...
Philip found Nathanael and said to him, We have found Him of whom Moses wrote in the Law and the Prophets, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
And Nathanael said to him, Can there be any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see.

Can any good thing come out of Benoni?
Imagine when Philip, a disciple of Jesus Christ discovered the true Messiah, and went to his friend Nathanael to tell him the good news, how he reacted? He was amazed and sceptical about the origin of this so-called "man of God".It is always easy for us to admit that America, and especially Hollywood, and Capitol Hill, can produce people whom will impact the world. We have no problem in granting great Cities and places credit for producing "great names", in our generations, but what can come from a place called Benoni...?
Perhaps you know about the actress ,Charlize Theron, coming from a farm, somewhere in Africa?
Maybe you have heard of Taryn Stein, another actress from Benoni?
Imagine, the city even brought forth a producer and writer by the name of Ross Bark!
Benoni produced a former bantam-weight boxing champion of the world, by the name of Vic Toweel!
Apparently one of our Springbok Rugby Players, Bryan Habana comes from Benoni, and a French International player, Brain Liebenberg.
We will soon have the honour to declare that we are connected to royalty through the marriage of Charlene Whittstock, also from Benoni, to Prince Albert from Monaco!
Last but not the least, believe it or not, there is even a film about life in Benoni, called "Grazy Monkeys- Straight outta Benoni!" I never watched it, so I didn't think it appropriate to link it to this site for obvious reasons.

Something else was born in Benoni...
During the 80's, a group of people gathered somewhere in America during a prayer-meeting, and during this meeting, the Spirit of God, told them that He will birth a move on the earth, which will spread into the nations, touching millions, healing multitudes and bring salvation to generations. God told them that this move will be born in a place called...Benoni!
As none of the people in attendance knew where Benoni was situated, they consulted a map, and found it to be in the heart of South Africa. Also during the 80's, a group of Christians in Benoni filled some balloons with helium, typed Bible verses on pieces of paper, and placed them into these balloons. They chose a piece of land, and releases these balloons into the wind as a testimony of the Word of God, being released into the earth! They chose a very specific piece of land...
In 1984, a young man in his early 20's, just finished 4 years of military service, moved to Benoni to take up a career in law enforcement. He knew nothing of the prophesy from America, or about the release of the balloons, or even about a specific piece of land in the heart of this City. All he knew, he had a call on his life since the age of 4...
This site is designed to bring this City of God, Benoni, into her God-given redemptive purpose, and to reach others in Cities around the world, placed there by the divine intervention of God Almighty, to teach and support them in standing firmly on their God-given mandate. It serves as a platform for His Holy Spirit to knit us together in an army of Conquers, bringing every City and every Nation to it's full potential in Christ Jesus.
On these pages, you will read about the purposes of God, planting you exactly where He intended, allowing you to endure the precise situations, and spiritual atmosphere you need, to design and develop your mantle to change the destiny of your entire community and City. Never pray that God must remove you from your situation, or surroundings, when things are tough and hostile, rather submit to Him, let Him turn you into a champion by using your opposition, to bring forth your anointing..
The host of this site, Willie du Toit will testify of hostile environments, government officials, fellow servants, impossible situations, constantly working against the plans of God in your area, once you have tapped into your city's true redemptive purpose. He will also tell you not to give up, give in or negotiate a lesser position, than all for Christ!

You may loose most of your support, your friends and family may turn their backs on you, but heaven will become your source, heaven will become your support, you will be called more than friend...
